Transcribed from an older Bluesky thread! It's a list of my favorite perfumes sampled in 2025. One day I want to say more about perfumes, but just wanted to test out this platform for now!
The following perfumes are:
Made by an independent (as in: not owned by a larger company) house
Cruelty-free (as far as I'm aware)
Available any time of the year (not seasonal/limited edition)
Note: I recommend trying as samples before buying full size wherever possible! I've definitely discovered some perfumes that just don't work on my skin lol.

In no particular order:
Solstice Scents - Rose Mallow Cream (Oil)
(Moroccan Rose absolute, Bulgarian Rose absolute, Marshmallow Fluff, Strawberry Nectar, White Chocolate, Vanilla, White Musk)
Review: It's like a light and fluffy sweet rose with vanilla?? but it's not like a super strong rose scent it's pretty even with the vanilla/"marshmallow" notes - rly nice for dates/spring imo.
Sorcellerie Apothecary - Match Made In Heaven (Oil/EDP)
(Matcha, vanilla soft serve, cherry blossom, almond, waffle cone, powdered sugar, creamy sandalwood)
Review: The matcha slapppss in the first 15 minutes but does fade away in the dry-down 😔 but the dry down is still rly nice!! its a very nice spring gourmand.
Poesie - Kindness & Mischief (Oil)
(Lemon, vanilla, marshmallow, cardamom, and lemon blossom)
Review: This one is like a spring version of Xerjoff's Lira or Kayali's Lemon Sugar! If you get all three of these you could have a full year of lemon scents lol. It's somehow clean and creamy, very well balanced imo.
Phlur - Vanilla Skin (EDP)
(Top: Pink Pepper, Pink Apple, Sugar Crystals Heart: Lily, Jasmine Petals, Cashmere Wood Base: Benzoin, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Agarwood)
Review: a sweet, salty, creamy, and musky sugared vanilla. it's very sensual imo! my partner says this one smells like a cookie lol.
Dedcool - Mochi Milk (EDP)
(Peach nectar and pillowy marshmallow whipped with sweetened rice milk. Sandalwood, amber, and white musk add depth.)
Review: A "skin scent". Just the right amount of sweetness and very easily layer-able with other scents. it does indeed smell like mochi and milk, it even somehow smells cool(???) to me? it's lac tonic but not in a bad way, it's very clean/refreshing.
Sorcellerie Apothecary - Fuckery (EDP)
(Luxardo cherry, caramelized sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, sandalwood, tobacco absolute, smoke, night air, clean sheets)
Review: Probably the sexiest perfume I own, and my favorite cherry! The tobacco/smoke aren't strong at all, it's more boozy rly.
Solstice Scents - Snowshoe Pass (Oil)
(White Amber, White Musk, Vanilla Accord, Peppermint Cream, Cold Winds)
Review: The peppermint cream is pretty light compared to the vanilla/amber, but it still helps make it have "snow"-like vibes, I've been using the burnishing glace (body oil spray) of this under lotion sometimes!
Nui Cobalt designs - Starlight & Spider Silk (2021) (Oil)
(Slender strands of cotton flower hung with trembling dewdrops, cold crystalline musk, and tiny black vanilla beans)
Review: It's like rain with cotton and vanilla, really hard to describe without trying it -- like clean clothes in the rain???
Briix - Enchanted Dreams (EDP)
(Crushed Vanilla pods, Vanilla Absolute, Sugar, Whipped Cream, Caramel with hint of Tonka Bean and White Musks)
Review: I'm biased cause this smells like Lush - Vanillary to me which I really liked as a teen but I think this is a really solid, strong, long-lasting vanilla EDP!
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - From Whose Eyes As They Glance Flowed Love (Oil)
(Spun sugar, skin musk, orris butter, pale amber, whipped vanilla, and rose petals)
Review: Gooorgeous skin scent imo, the rose petals might be strong depending on your skin chemistry but it was pretty well balanced on me, the overall blend is sooo 🔥🤌🏻😩.
